Kelly Gaines is a New Jersey-born writer, editor, podcaster, and folklorist. She received a B.A. in English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia in 2016. In addition to her work as a freelance comic book editor, Kelly has written for a multitude of publications, including DC Comics News and CBR. She is also featured as a co-author of two volumes of the Murderous Minds book series. Kelly is passionate about identifying how the stories we tell create connections across time and culture. Her interest in storytelling, history, and the intersection between the two is a constant source of inspiration that continues to play a role in the projects she takes on. When not writing, Kelly can be found reading up on old folktales and myths, cowering with a good horror novel, or watching history documentaries.
