Usage Instructions for Ceramic Casting Molds: This plaster mold is specifically developed for ceramic slip casting and is not intended for use with other materials such as soap, wax, silicone, polyester, or related compounds. It is ideal for use in ceramic slip casting projects to create functional or decorative clay pieces. To use the form, pour liquid casting clay or porcelain slip with the appropriate consistency into the cavity. When the clay reaches the desired wall thickness, drain the excess liquid. Allow the remaining clay to firm up inside the form until it is ready to be removed—this timing depends on the clay body, ambient conditions, and frequency of use. Using suitable ceramic tools (such as a trimming knife or sponge), gently clean the edges of the form’s opening and carefully remove the shaped piece by hand. Once the clay reaches a leather-hard stage, it can be further processed with techniques like refining, smoothing, decorating, or assembling.

The dimensions of the forms to be obtained from the mold may decrease depending on the type of clay, the depth of the retouching process and the degree of firing.(Generally %5-%7)
